Hi all,
Seeking help from my fellow raised spa peoples. I live in dusty Arizona and my raised spa floor is in need of some good advice! I use an Aquanaut in floor cleaner that sufficiently cleans the pool floor but the raised spa has nothing. I was told by the pool co that installed to simply run the spa filter which will blow up the debri and flow into the pool. Well, this doesn’t work with the small dust that settles at the bottom of the spa. It was recommended that I try the Polaris Soa wand. Manually pumping the dang thing is a pain and it dies pick up rocks, leaves etc but dies nothing for the sand/dust at the bottom except move it around.

There are a lot of other manual vacuums but before buying something else, I’d love to hear from my fellow expert DIYers. Any advice I’ve for a products that works wonders on your raised spa? Thanks so much!

If you put it in SPA mode - where suction is from the spa drain and return is to the spa - it will all flow through the filter. Just take your brush and sweep the small debris to the spa drain. It should capture all the debris.

Thank you. By ‘spa mode’ , do you mean turning on my spa filter? I’ve tried this. Haven’t done too much sweeping though while it’s on. Maybe I can try that. It’s just so deep, it’s tough to see while it’s on.

Lower your speed of your variable speed pump when in spa mode. This will prevent excessive jet pressure. Also turn off your air blower to your spa. You just want circulation from the spa drain to the filter and then brush the bottom to move debris to the spa drain.

Post several pictures of your equipment pad if you have questions.

I’ve only run it on high. Will try lowering and brushing. Sure beats buying another piece of equipment that doesn’t work!
Thanks so much!
