Quote Review for First Time Buyer in Houston, TX Area

I noticed that your quote includes a travertine coping. Most sources indicate that natural stone and SWG are incompatible . . . the stone degrades in the presence of the salt water. We went with a travertine coping and deck . . . I don't regret that choice at all. We use the TFP method for chlorination.

Welcome to the forum!
Not TFP. We see no difference in the degradation of natural stone based on how you chlorinate. As long as you follow TFP methods.
If you use liquid chlorine your salinity level in your pool will approach 1000 ppm in a year or less. The salinity level in a pool with a SWCG is not significant.

Update: The builder that provided the original quote has been unresponsive for 2 weeks, so we've decided against using them. A new builder has quoted the following. The quote is cheaper and includes more details, but I'm not sure I understand half of it. Back to researching!

Let me know if anyone sees anything odd or out of place. Thanks!

Once again - consider a SWCG. The ozone/UV device comsumes electricity and chlorine, and does little else.
