Quieting normal pool pump noise

Hi, I have a pentair variable pool pump.

There is nothing wrong with it and it's about 5 years old. It makes a typical humming noise when running at about 2800rpm and is barely able to be heard when dropping to 1400rpm

However, I'd like to see if it's possible via some kind of pre built enclosure to reduce the noise further.

Again, it's not broken or making any kind of odd noise, it's just a normal running pump and I'm being super anal about seeing if there is some safe and effective way to reduce the noise. It's already behind arborvateas but that doesn't provide much noise reduction.

Any suggestions? Pre built enclosure that still let it get air and not overheat?

Are those any good or a waste of money? I kind of also worry whether it will just create a shell to reverb off of and make it sound noisier instead.

I understand not wanting to hear the pump as much. But be cautious of enclosing it, it's meant to be in open air to dissipate heat.

Enclosing it generally makes people pay less attention to cleaning out the basket. Also it's less likely to get attention if there is a problem. Just some food for thought. I would try changing the schedule to have it off or running as slow speed when you are likely to be around it and have it run at higher speed when your not around it.

Placing that cover over the motor seems like it would trap heat, doesn't look like there is much opening to allow for heat dissipation.

Attenuating sound can be a challenge, I would start with some simple tests to see what helps. Try placing a small wall (foam, wood, brick, etc) between the pump and where you are around the pool where you hear the pump the most. Placing a wall around the pump and leaving the top open should direct the sound up and allow for cooling

Timing is an issue because to run my 3 waterfall spouts I need to get it up to 2800rpm.

I had similar concerns about heat and stuff. Less concerned about ignoring the basket etc and it typically is clean all season long. Because i use the socks in the baskets which trap a lot.

I can see if placing some bricks around it helps but only have room on the side facing towards me as the de filter is on the other side of it.
