Question on heating the Spa during the Winter..

My apology for all the questions as I am learning a ton of good info here.. So we are just getting out of the cold snap and will be in the 50-upper 60s for the next few weekss. Right now the pool is at 33 and the SPA at 34 deg, which with more sun tomorrow, should rise a few deg as well.. My Spa is integrated with the pool, and I'd like to fire up the spa to use it on Wed/Thur.. SO my question is, if the water will be in the mid 30s to 40, heating up the spa for a few hours and then shutting off, when the system flips back to filtering the pool, is there going to be any issue with the cold water from the pool hitting the system afterwards?

Figured I would ask as the temp fluctuation is huge and I don't know what the impact on the equipment would be..

The Pentair MasterTemp Heaters Manual says:

• Operating this heater continuously at water temperatures below 68° F. (20° C) will cause harmful condensation and will damage the heater and void the warranty.
• When starting the heater for the swimming season with a water temperature below 50° F (10° C), the heater may be used to heat the water; however, make sure that the heater operates continuously until the water temperature reaches the heater’s minimum setting of 68° F (20° C).

When you are done with the spa turn off the heater and give it a 5 minute cooldown before putting the ET in POOL mode.

Your EZTouch will perform a cooldown after you are done with the spa. Heater will turn off but pump will continue to circulate spa water for about 5 minutes to draw off residual heat. After that the pump shuts down and the valves will return to pool operation.

Ok, that is great to know.. I was just concerned about the plumbing/equipment with the temp shock moving from 100 to low temps..
