PVC Cement Question

Folks,
I'm getting ready to re-plumb Pump to Multiport. In the past I've used the standard Oatey 2 pack with the purple primer. Never had an issue...but....is there anything else out there to consider? The Oatey dries like a flash, is there anything as good but may set a bit slower?

I still use the rain or shine fast set stuff as it works great

You don't say where you live but the huge factor in pvc cement "open" time is air temperature

Tell me about it Dave, I get about 5 seconds with the rain n shine at 90 degrees
