I have a Hayward variable speed pump displaying a Pump Stall Error as described by others in an older post. One step they described was to check that the impellers were not blocked. How do I check to see if the impellers are blocked? I don't see anything that can manually be turned. Is there some disassembly involved?
Edit: I cleaned the cartridge filters yesterday as well as the 2 basket filters located near the pump. The motor started fine after reassembly and ran the remaining 3 hours of it's schedule.
Furthermore, I don't think it's an electrical problem as I hear the pump gently "thud" or "click" as it attempts to start, then nothing.
