My pumped stopped priming on the pool side. When I turned to spa side, it would prime properly which makes me assume it it something between that valve and the skimmers. I tried using a bladder in both the pump side as well as skimmers. When doing this, I would open only one skimmer valve at a time.
Some notes: not sure how related any of this might be.
The skimmer nearest the equipment has been murky for some time. At first it seemed as the water was clear until I would reach in for the basket and then it would just get all cloudy when there was any sort of movement. Now, it just seems murky all the time. This never seemed to affect the other skimmer until today when doing the bladder flush I noticed the far side got murky too.
Before the pump stopped priming at all, it was intermittent. At first it seemed when the pump first started it wouldn't prime. I thought there was some communication issue between the wireless unit and the unit by the equipment. I say this because I would shut off the pump and then restart it and it seemed to prime properly. I noticed this for a few days. Again, right now it won't prime at all.
I'm new to pool ownership and have been trying to read these forums and youtube videos for tips. I've ruled out o-ring and multiport since it seems to prime fine with the spa.
Location: North Texas (never lost power during the winter storm and everything "seemed" to work fine after it)
In the picture, the furthest left is labeled spa, on the right side they are Skimmer, Skimmer, Main Drain. I'm personally not sure where the main drain is on the pool as I've never seen any sort of drain in it.
