I have a large pool, 35k gallons.
It has a spa that has an overflow riverbank down to the main pool.
An upper pool grotto that spills down to the middle pool that spills into the main pool. The filter is a Pentair DE 60.

It has 5) 2hp single speed pumps driving the following:

1) Pump 1 - main pool - filter and pop up floor cleaners in main pool.
2) Pump2 - upper grotto and middle pool floor cleaners and bubblers on the Baja Deck in the main pool. This pump takes water from the main pool and pushes it to the upper grotto pool and middle pool
3) Pump 3 - Spa Riverbank overflow. This pump takes water from the main pool and fills the spa to overflow and flows the riverbank
4) Pump 4 - Grotto falls
5) Pump 5 -Water feature. This pump takes water from the main pool and fills the upper grotto pool to make the riverbank flows

All pumps have 2” in and out.

These pumps are 15 years old and I think they could be more efficient on electricity usage. I would like to use Pentair VS pumps (5 new pumps) Are the VS pumps a good idea on 4 pumps not using the filter. I know this is a loaded question, but I’ll take any information or suggestions offered

Thanks
Don
