Pump busted over the winter…is this a good option for a new one?

While I like 2 speed pumps over single speed, I still really prefer VS pumps for the future flexibility they provide, while saving a little more electricity now as well.

Yea that would be nice but they are so much more expensive!

Edit: I just now saw the link. That’s a lot cheaper than the other ones I was looking at.

I was skeptical of the Calimar / Black and Decker / Blue works / Circupool pumps. Some members went with each and haven't reported any problems, so now I'm thinking they only have to last as long as their discounted price and it's an even trade.

If they last longer than that, and it's likely they will, you made out in the long run.
