Pump Basket not filling

Wrap the suspect joints with plastic wrap. See if that reduces the air from the suction side.
Ok - somewhat success! We wrapped the joints in plastic wrap and the water level in the pump basket rose. Not all the way to the top, but definitely higher.
What do we do now? Do we need to take apart the pump and reseal the joints? Or is there something we can put on them to reseal them without having to do that?

Great. Did you narrow down which joint(s) were the issue? You will have to remove them and rebuild the connections so doing that is critical.

Try to lube the union gasket before you go all out on the repair. For all you know it's that and done. If that doesn't do it then get going from the lowest one which is partially in the grass and redo all.

What is your operating psi?

I still think that the joint just below the suction elbow is allowing air into the system. Can you tell us how that joint was made up?......looks like a repair.
