Anybody know what these bugs are I noticed when pulling robot out after it’s first cleaning a week or so ago. I hoard them off and haven’t noticed many more, possibly 1-3 on the cord. I’ve been leaving the robot in the pool.
Pulled out robot and saw these little bugs

Can't zoom in enough to get a good look, but they may be springtails. They're real small, like about 1/10th the size of ant. Best to Google some pics and compare for yourself.

No, they showed up a day after I put the robot in for the first time. It was about a week ago. It might have been after one of the rains.
My robot just picked up at least 20 worms from yesterday’s rain.
Looks like Springtails. I got them last year after a rain in my pool. Have to just use a net to move them into skimmer. They float and are small enough to fit through the tiny holes of pool net so scooping them up is a pain. Used a little soapy water spray in the skimmer to get them to sink and drown into filter.

We get dead worms after hard rains too. One side of the pool is right up against a lawn, and I figure the worms come out due to the wet soil, and are dumb enough to crawl up onto the tile and then fall in.
I definitely have springtails so I assume these bugs were just young ones. Now I gotta read up on how to keep them at bay.
