Progress pre pebble

Our inspector requested all Pvc pipe to be painted to protect from uv rays, I see they painted over something that looks like a sensor, anyone knows what is that and if it will be a problem?

Just wanted to post some pictures from our remodel, About to get Npt stonescapes micro pebble (white) today, tile is Npt opal mint.

That is a water temperature probe and has yet to be installed in the pipe.

Not sure it will hurt anything, but for sure it is very sloppy and lazy workmanship.

As stated above and also can be used for outside air temperature.
