Pretzeld hoses

Hello all
I've been battling pretzels like this, or worse, for 2 weeks now. Do I have bad:
Shoes/pods?
Hoses?
Both?

that is from the swivel not swiveling

I bought another swivel so I have 2 on and it helps but does not completely solve it.. try buying 2 and using both..

does that piece replace the existing grey leader hose piece? You're suggesting using 2, but that didn't work for you, no?
Or is it possible that the interior neck-crank, or whatever is called, has something stuck that prevents it from cranking?

It worked 90% and I can go a week without it getting tangled... it went great for awhile but then it get worse as the months go on... might have to buy a new one every year?? I forgot the end hose already has one and to replace that one you replace the hose... I stuck the new one between the 2 so only buy 1...
