Pre pool opening (white water mold)

Now….

Will I always have to flip back and forth on my phone wifi settings?
If I’m connected to the pif I can control the app, if I do anything else like post here it’s waaaay slow and I have to flip to my regular wifi connection

If I’m on regular wifi connection I can’t control the app

Also attached are pictures of my heater and my choices on the app. I’m not sure which to choose

Ok I FINALLY GOT IT
the pump is on in auto mode

On the app I had to choose booster pump

That is not really correct but got it to work.

To the IntelliConnect your pump is a Single Speed pump and not RS485.

Why is that? If I have a variable speed pump

The IntelliConnect version you have does not support RS-485 control with the Superflow pump and you do not have The RS-485 comm link wired to the left hand RS-485 connector in your IntelliConnect.

We can work on that once you get everything else setup.

Your heater was not wired to your IntelliConnect. Neither was VS control of your pump.

Look at the lower left and you see the RS-485 connector has no wires attached and neitehr does the heater connector.

So all this is good for currently is light control ?

Yes, and scheduling when you want your pump to run.

The IntelliConnect can do more but the following was not done:
  • A water temperature sensor can be installed so the app and displayed on the app. The water temperature sensor is required for heater control.
  • Your heater can be connected so you can control the temperature from the app
  • If your Superflo VS pump was manufactured after 10/15/20 then its RS-485 VS control can be connected to the IntelliConnect to schedule the speeds it runs at during a day.

Tysm for your help

My ph seems to be increasing pretty rapidly. In just a few days it goes from 7.2-8
Is this just normal ?

My TA is currently 150 and has been for at least a week maybe 2

My MA doses are about 32 oz at a time per pm

Not a lot of splashing etc goes on in my pool

I am about to add water if that makes any diff at all?
Add water then adjust ph ?

It is normal with a TA of 150. Keep lowering your pH and your TA will come down.

What is the pH, TA and CH if your fill water?

With TA 300 fill water it will be difficult keeping your TA down. You will need to do the best you can and accept frequent acid additions as part of your regular pool care.

Rain water has 0 TA.

However runoff from your roof can put all sorts of debris into your pool depending on your roof materials.

I’m on the fence here . Add the other half container of ahhsome (just because I have it)?.

Thing’s going pretty well over here and I don’t want to rock the boat so to speak .

Would you go for it ? Or just save for an emergency

You bought some to perform a task and it did what it was supposed to . If you never need it again, you can happily throw it out when it's all dried up in a couple of years.

I don't belive it can cause you any harm, but I also know how the universe works and she is a *not nice lady*. 'OH. Want to mess with something that didn't need messing with ? I'll SHOW you !!!' :ROFLMAO:
