What do you guys use for posts for your pool panels? I am replacing my small old panel with a big and heavy Pentair panel. The panel is currently supported by galvanized unistrats but they are too short for the new panel. I don’t want to use wood posts and I haven’t found galvanized unistruts in nearby stores. Any suggestions?

Can you post some pictures of what you are dealing with and where you are going to put this...would help us!

Why not ? You can buy pre-made pressure treated H-frames relatively cheap (several sizes) or build your own to save a couple bucks. They will last long enough that you won't mind replacing it in a generation.

If what others are showing in what you need them for, ground contact pressure treated wood posts should work great. I used one for our last AG pool to support a chlorine feeder and when I removed it 20 years later it was fine. I believe the ground contact lumber is made to have a 40 year life expectancy.
