Pool water level is up to the coping but not overflowing. If I drain it back down to normal levels in batches over a few days to not completely flood my backyard are there any issues other than skimming won't happen? Any reason I should just drain all at once?

No sewage line we're all on septic and the grassy part is where my leech field is.

Street would be a fairly long up hill run.

I could potentially drain some to one side and then move hose and drain rest to other. Side my pump is on is narrow and has a line of trees and water path runs towards neighbors pool. Other side is remainder of my property

I decided just to take a chance and drain all into my backyard. A little soggy ground but most soaked in already. Drained to just about the screw above halfway point. Still a little on high side but it is skimming
