I live in texas and my pool is turning green this year. I have 3-4 leslie chlorine in the chlorine tab.
Last 2 weeks I added the leslie algae control but it did not help.

I am running 10 hrs filter every night. What else can I try?

The answer is always "more chlorine". At this point, it is SLAM and then keep a higher chlorine level based on your CYA. Are you testing with the TF-100 kit?

Akhill, can you give us some test results?
FC
CC
pH
TA
CH
CYA

... your test results may show us where the problem lies.
A very common problem with the use of pucks like you're using, which cause the CYA to build up to an unmanageable high level is that the higher the CYA, the more FC you have to have to balance it. If all your FC is tied up by the CYA there isn't any available to fight the algae. Ugh!

Liquid chlorine is your friend! Plain, unscented, non-thickened, non-Chlormax technology type bleach. H.E.B. Bravo used to be good...not sure if they've doctored it up and ruined it. Check that stuff out.
