Hey, guys, I am just having a pool installed and it is zero entry. Can I use a pool robot in a zero entry pool, or will it escape? Are there any robots that can be programmed to cover a specific area? Thanks!

I suspect that once the robot reaches a point on the entry that its water intake is not under the water (to suck water in) it will reverse and move back the way it came. At least that is what mine does when climbing steps-- it can do the bottom two, maybe half of third up, but once it sucks air... Back in to the deep water.

You will have to brush the shallow area towards deeper water, the bot will not run itself aground.
