Pool Putty

Does anyone have experience with pool putty epoxy to fill cracks in the pool plaster? If so, how long can I expect this stuff to last?

My PB used pool putty to fix a crack in pebblesheen that leaked water in 2012 and it is still fine. He fixed two more cracks later that didn't leak, also fine.
