Just recently my pool pump has been making a squeaking noise when it starts up and when it stop. Everything is fine while it is running and there are not any squeaking sounds. How worried should I be about this noise? Thanks for your help!

Might check the cooling fan. They can sometimes rub the grill of the pump. Not an issue for performance or longevity.

It might be the bearings or the shaft seal. Look under the pump for a leak.
I suspect that it’s probably the seal. If it’s not leaking, it’s probably best to leave it.
It might resolve of its own accord.
If you do change the seal, get a good one such as the U. S.Seal PS-3865R or PS-1905.
