Pool pad cover-DIY

This weekend I built a hinged pool pad cover made from cedar rails and corrugated roofing.

During the summer, that area of the yard gets constant direct sunlight. This will also help with direct exposure to rain.

it’s a little crude looking but is out of sight in the backyard. It is hinged and the legs are detachable so I can swing it up to the wall to work on equipment as necessary.

Looks good.

Sun is more a threat than rain to the equipment. So the more you can shade it, the better.

You also can spray paint your PVC to help protect it from the sun. Mine is painted to match the color of the filter, actually. Helps it blend *out of site* a bit.

Your cover is what I need to have Skippy make for us, except free standing since our equipment isn't against a wall. Bookmarking your post for future reference.
