I think my levels are linked to my account in the forum, but here they are. Pool is about 20,000 fresh water. Not using tabs or anything that has CYA (as far as I know). I'm using 12.5% bleach and music acid.

FC 6.5
CC. 5
CYA 65 - down from of the charts after tablet and shock use
PH 7.4 - I added two cups of muratic after testing
TA 100
CH 250

The math app says my levels are too high to SLAM but algee keeps coming back, much stronger these last couple of days.

Will slam damage pool or equipment? Do I need to drain again? Our water district had a crazy fee that is more than double the actual water usage. So draining the pool is much more expensive than it should be.

Welcome to the forum!
You are mis interpreting what the App is displaying. When you need to follow the SLAM Process, you can ignore the Out of Range warning. No damage or issues will occur.
Use a CYA of 70 and a SLAM level of FC of 28 ppm.
I assume you have a proper test kit.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.
