Pool Math........The App

I struggled a bit to import the data into the iOS version. I had saved the data, not emailed it. So I needed to open the file, then click the export button, then choose "..." in Dropbox (where I saved it), then choose Export, then choose the App Store icon which says "Open in" below it. Then select the Pool Math icon which says "Copy to Pool Math" below it. Could be I'm just a little slow too! I thought there would be an Import button in Pool Math so I was thinking backwards of how it's designed. And since I didn't email the file, it didn't immediately have the Pool Math icon listed when opening it, I had to choose Export first then find it.

But all is good and I'm live.

To see the data I did have to close the app then re-open. Voila!

Wow, that sounds complicated and I am not sure many are going to figure that out. Sure seems like there should be an easier way.

I have yet to tackle this from my Android phone. Going to attempt the backup and restore this weekend.

Sure. I did manage to get the CSV file to import finally.

Trying to open from my phone storage in pool math always caused the app to crash. Opened in my Google Drive account and then chose "open with" and opened in Pool Math and imported. Unfortunately trying that with the backup file pool math tried to import as a CSV export.

UPDATE: Just emailed the full backup and csv export to [email protected]
 
Downloaded the new app and subscribed. Not the easiest install, login process, but not too bad. It automatically had me logged in when I downloaded it, but I didn't know how or as who/what. I share my wife's Apple ID for purchases, I used my email address for the beta, and I didn't see what criteria it had me signed in with. I signed out, then signed in with my tfp id. Then I opened the backup I had emailed to myself and imported it. Good to go now. Also put in a 5 star review.

We thank you greatly for the 5stars!!! Keep in mind with the install that the issue here is updating from a Beta. The install is now all handled directly from Apple. The safest way would be to backup your data and delete the App first. THEN go to the App Store and download the live version.

I went to the App Store and found it and downloaded it and it downloaded right over the old beta app. I thought that was pretty cool that I didn't l have to go delete the old beta app.

I just went to the App store and a search for Pool Math does not come up with the app. What should I search for?

Bad news, this is gonna frequently over the first few days. TFP is late to the App game and we're behind in the rankings. For the first while the App will be hard to find. We ask that you help us though. Please help us by simply downloading the App. Rate the App a 5 and give us a good review. These are major players in how far up in the searches the App is displayed.
 
Now searching "Pool Math" in the App Store is the second one listed, 8 reviews and 5 ⭐️. Only two of the reviews are shown.

Yeah, and those two were posted over 8 hours ago. Apple really needs to up its games on review approvals. Amazon turns them around in less than 30mins most of the time.
