Pool Math CSI calculator or Taylor Watergram calculator - Do they measure the same thing?

Hi - The Pool Math CSI guidelines say saturation level should be between -0.6 and 0.6. The Taylor Watergram calculator says level should be between -0.3 and 0.5. I have calculated my calcium saturation level using both methods today and get different results. Which method do you use and why? And what is your targeted range?

Steam boilers!?! How does that translate to pools? You have to enter PH, TA, CH and temperature to get their saturation calculation. What saturation are they measuring if it isn't the calcium saturation? The Watergram calculator came with the Taylor pool kit.

Keep it simple
Use CSI
PoolMath does the calculation automatically

With a SWG, keep the CSI between 0.00 and -0.30 (negative 0.30) to minimize scaling in the SWG
