Pool Math Android App

I just switched over to a new phone. When I installed Pool Math, it is no longer showing recent entries. I've tried clearing cache. Is there a secret to get my logs back?

The web link shows logs up to 19 days ago:

But the app's most recent log is from 5/31/2020

Generally speaking this occurs when a user is logged into the wrong account. Can you logout of the App and log back in using your TFP credentials? My gut says you likely are using the Google social login.

I've logged out and back in. I actually got my username & password from Chrome b/c I couldn't remember it. So it is the same credentials I use for this site.

I see that there is an option to import/export logs. Is there anyway to generate an export file from the cloud that I could then import?

No. I don't mind at all. As a last resort I'm pretty sure I can write a script to parse the DOM of the share link into a JSON backup file and import that. But if there is an easier way, I'm all for it.

I did notice there are actually two pools with the same name in the share. I'm wondering if that is the cause. Maybe the app is only loading one of the two? Not sure how that happened.

In the link you shared in the first post you were using Google Social Login. I’m betting however you’re currently using the TFP login info. Can you do the opposite to what I suggested before and logout of the App, then log back in using Google social login.

There is a way to export data and so forth built into the App. In the hamburger menu there’s to import/export built in.

That's it! I logged out and then logged back in with Google. All of my logs are there now. Thank you.

I just went all non creative with White Pool, White Spa, & of course “pretend pool”. Now I am imagining more colorful names…
Ps - White is my last name
All my cameras are named White House 1 etc.

When I lost my old phone (which is what started this thread) I also lost my 2fa for my cameras. Security is a PIA when everything is based on a single device and that device craps out...

two-factor authentication.

I used the Google Auth app to generate an auth token to log into my camera cloud account. It was a pain to get back in without that token.

Gotcha- i always use my phone # & an alternate email so luckily never had an issue.
