Hi, I recently bought a house that came with an inground pool. I have never owned a pool home. My pool light works but not all the colors change. It also came with a remote control with an antenna. When the lights are in rotation, the blue and purple color just shows black. However, once in a great while all the colors will work and change. I do not know anything about the pool light or the bulb. I do not know the manufacturer. I never had the fixture disassembled. The fact that the light turns on but some colors won't change, does that indicate a bad bulb? Or is there something more sinister going on? Any advice or tips? Thanx.

We can’t really help you much without knowing the model light you have.
If it is a color changing LED light it does not have a bulb. It has various color LEDs and some of them may be malfunctioning.
You need someone to pull out the light and examine it.
