Algae is slowly building up behind both of my pool lights. Question is can I remove the screws that hold the lens in place while underwater? Lights are PAL Lighting PAL-2T2.

The light screws into a 1 1/2"PVC pipe. To remove it you unscrew the light from the pipe. You don't remove the faceplate screws.
