Water has been leaking for awhile so I decided to find out where. I first located the wet area near the pool and dug. I was able to see stream of water flowing into the hole I just dug. I put the hose in there and turn it on to cause backflow into the pool. I was able to narrow down the leak thanks to the muddy water. One area was the skimmer wall. Water was leaking back in from the cracks along the right side. What type of material is recommended to patch that area? Also I want to be able to fill the pool to the rim like I used to before and I was thinking silicone gel might be a good idea due to the size and the location of the crack? Or should I use water leak sealing cement? Or some other material need to be used?

Muddy water was also flowing in from small pvc tip located on upper right portion of the photo. What is that structure for? When I put my finger in there, there was space and no continuation of pipe. Can I just seal it up with something? Does it serve any purpose that I don't know about?

Thanks for any help in advance since I am hoping to patch them up if possible over the weekend!
