We are considering adding a small pool house at the end of the pool. Thinking about 16wide x 12 deep. Will use it to cover equipment pad, float storage and portable toilet. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Are you thinking of prefab or custom construction? Post picture of existing space.
So we started off with a prefab idea and then ended up realizing that with the cost of what we wanted it was just not that much more to get it Planned by an architect and permitted. just make sure you’re comparing apples to apples.

You have plenty of space. Since you have a heater, there are certain dimensions you must maintain for ventilation so a prefab may not work. One idea is to custom make it. Small open patio in front for chair, etc. , on left is closet for pool toys and on right is a bath/changing room. Can have a open shower on front (facing the open patio) from the changing room. On back side with a cover over it will be the equipment pad. Thus equipment is still open to environment with exception of overhead roof. (Very) rough draft attached to give you some starting ideas. I rented a house in Florida that had a similar set up. It looked very functional.

I love this idea! We are also thinking about putting in a pool house. We just want an outdoor bathroom & covered patio.
