Fiberglass Pool was dug on Wednesday and set on Thursday. Backfill/ pool fill /plumbing to start on next week.
Before all the equipment is in place, which maybe a week after filling, what should I be doing to keep the water clean and clear.
Will be testing the fill water tonight and posting the results. Dig 1.jpgDig 1.jpgDig 2.jpgdig 3.jpgdig 4.jpgdig 5.jpg

Congrats on the new pool. Not much you can without equipment running. Let's wait to see if they can pinpoint better for you the time between initial fill and equipment install. If it's just a day or two you can probably wait. If it drags out to 3 days or more you might consider adding a little liquid chlorine each day/evening (2-3 ppm) and brushing it around just to help keep algae from brewing.

Pool install delayed. :(

When the pool was delivered the July 27 the installer found a spider crack in the gel coat on the left side (looking toward the deep end), bottom inside corner of the swim-out. The manufacture sent a tech to repair on Sunday, August 22.
After repair, Crack # 1 developed into crack #2 which the installer found when they came to dig on Wednesday.
The hole was dug and gravel base was placed, the pool was set on Thursday.
Tech repaired the crack on Friday morning.
Friday afternoon the installer showed up to install extra supports on the tanning ledge and found crack #3. It is located on the opposite side, but same location as crack #1/#2. Installer became very concerned about the integrity of the pool and contacted the manufacturer.
The manufacturer is replacing the pool. Waiting on a ship date of the replacement.

Disappointing I'm sure! At least something is being done about it now though!

Be grateful that you have a very attentive PB who is not satisfied with the integrity of the pool and not willing to install it and give you future nightmares with a bad pool.
