Hello,

I am in the process of building a house and pool. Due to climate we want the equipment to be enclosed so we don't have to winterize every year. The least expensive option would be to put pool equipment in the crawl space under the master bedroom. Would that be loud? Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas. What are the negatives of putting it there?

Thank you in advance!

It will cost you a fortune to keep that pool open year round. Way more than the $400 it will cost to properly winterize it every year. You also cannot fully enclose any type of heater. And yes, the pump is loud. Bad idea!

Don't even think about putting the equipment in the crawlspace (especially under the master bedroom). Winterize it yourself and save! I spend about $100 on closing my pool every year (and about half that opening it).
