I do have a submersible pump. I will use this idea as well. So how does this help keep the water cool. I don't understand

Geez! Cooling the pool water! I have a small (12' x 24' x 5') vinyl pool in Ontario Canada. The heater broke down about 6 years ago & I discovered that I didn't really need it as the water (assisted by a solar blanket) generally always reached about 26 C (79F) during the summer swimming season. With a spell of hotter weather of 30C (86F) it gets to 28 C (82f) & occasionally up to 30 C (86 F). 30 C seems too hot to me - especially when the air temp is so hot. 28 C is as hot as it needs it needs to be (IMO). I can't imagine what 94 F must feel like. I guess we all have different problems to deal with!
