Pool cleaner for shallow area

Good morning,

I have been looking online for an electric pool cleaner that would work in a pool that has a shallow area about 18” deep but I haven’t had any luck. I bought a Dolphin Nautilus Plus but I had to return it because it would shut off in the shallow area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there Tonii welcome to TFP.

I don't know that you'll find any automatic cleaners that will do that on their own. They use the water intake to propel themselves and without it.... uh...nope! Ain't happenin'.

Perhaps just a rechargeable hand vac? Or brushing any debris down into the deeper portion of the pool.

The issue was that the cleaner would always end up in the shallow portion of the pool and shut down not completely cleaning the deep end.
