Pool Build -- Annapolis, MD

What's the green stuffy toy for, your snuggly "comfort frog"? ;)

Love the flower bed!! The desert is starting to bloom here with lots of wild flowers. The nurseries are overflowing with plants. I finished composting and mulching my citrus trees, my flowering plum and my crappe myrtle tree. My next task is to give some serious TLC to two very sickly looking figs (kadota and black mission) that I planted last year. A very rough first year for them so I'm hoping for a better season for them.

Now I just need to dig out my .22 so I can shoot some dang prairie dogs that ripping up my yard...destructive little buggers if ever there were such a thing :(

Next on my list after spreading 15 yards of mulch this week.

What kind of plants are those, Helen? They look nice.

Nice week for yard work, for sure! They are Hellebores 'Pink Frost'.

Our dog has been known to "retrieve" plants we've put in the ground -- we hope maybe he'll bring froggie instead!!
