We are building a pool and have been having issues with our pool builder for 8 months after we were quoted 3-3.5 month build time. We have already filed an ROC complaint, but don't have an inspection scheduled for another month.
The initial pebble was severely stained/blotchy so they decided to chip it out and re-pebble without us asking them to and promised it would look much better. The pebble foreman blamed us and told us it was from "overbrushing" our pool and that we should not brush the new pebble finish unless we see dirt on it.
Now after the re-pebble, our steps in our pool/spa and corners of our baja shelf are crooked, sloped, and appear wavy. There is also a corner where the pebble did not seal all the way up to tiles and has hole.
We told our pool builder and they are not wanting to fix it for us and say they want to wait until the ROC inspection to address anything. Are we being too picky or does this look bad? We are trying to weigh our options because we are very frustrated with the pool build.
