I normally go overkill with testing...and pool has always been on point and has that TFP sparkle.
That said, opened the pool 1 month ago and havent really been in the water much. Maybe 2-3 times since opening...so needless to say, not very active. I SLAMed after opening and had the sparkle...and continued to have the sparkle over a few weeks until heavy rain last week. The next morning, it was a tad cloudy and the PH dropped to 7.2 along with TA around 60. I panicked and raised the PH (using PH plus) and SLAMed it. Everything was fine after 2 days of SLAMing. FC stayed around 8-10, CYA at 70, PH 7.6 and TA 100.
Until another heavy rain last night...and low and behold, PH was down to 7.2 (TA was 90), FC was 6.0 and pool was a touch cloudy. Not really sure what is causing all of these cloudiness and sharp drop in PH. I never experienced this last year. Normally I would have to bring the PH down (adding PH minus)...but havent had to do so since opening.
thoughts?
