Polaris vacuum

Hello! I’m VERY new and I know little about maintenance.
I have a Polaris vacuum for my salt water pool. It hasn’t moved and I don’t know how to check if it’s on or not. The picture attached shows .
‘filter on’ but is this for the vacuum?
I appreciate the kind and helpful responses. I’m overwhelmed
