Polaris P825 bought used worked gr8 1 season, started stopping mid cycle with flashing ‘I’ on control unit. Brought to local Leslie’s recommended replacing cable $240 and control unit $650. When inquired about what normally causes this issue, was told they normally recommend replacing both at the same time. When inquired about of the unit could operate with just a new cable, she said the tech that looked at it would have to get back to me, so waiting. Does this remotely sound correct to anyone? Or, am I getting the retailer run around?
