This sock method is literally taking a week so what is a quicker way for me to do this. I work to much to do this Dang sock thing lol
Please I can't get my pool to be Clear and it's been 2 weeks!

Give the sock a few good squeezes. You should see the CYA coming out in a little puff. If it does you can hold the sock down in the water and squeeze it til all the CYA is out.
I used my semi worn cotton sock to do this. If I squeeze it the white powder does come out. So I'll just squeeze it all out
Well I couldn't do a oclt but I took my chlorine just now from 10pm last night and I am at 2.5fc from 4.2fc. And 0cc and pool is pretty clear so basically im calling this good! I think my eyes are deceiving me telling the pool is slightly cloudy but I think that is my vinyl liner not being as dark blue as it should be from previous owners slightly bleaching it to a light blue instead of a darkblue

So if I cant see that clear what do I do if I dont lose 1ppm and my cc is 0. And my pool is 8 feet deep.

I have 8 foot deep water and can clearly see the liner pattern on it. (Haven't thrown a quarter in but I don't want to fish it out.

If it's not that clear I would keep in the SLAM levels of chlorine to be safe, until it is. It will get there, so long as your filter is doing its job.

I'll take a picture and show you what it looks like in about an hour. I can see the floor like that but you'll see what I mean about my liner pattern faded. Unless im going crazy. But when I look at the top 1 or 2 feet of water at angle across my entire pool it's crazy clear and I am at the point to think my mind is playing tricks on me

Maybe point a return jet by your deep end down toward it? Perhaps that cloudy water isn't getting to your skimmer / suction port to get pulled in and filtered?
Put your pool net in the deep end and take a picture. That should give you an idea if the deep end is cloudy or not.
Both of those are good ideas, both of my pool jets are shooting at the top of the pool and is causing ripples but aren't technically mixing the bottom water. So should I always keep one up and one pointed down. I was basically relying on the bottom main filter to pull the bottom water through filter.

I move my jets around. After brushing and vacuuming I let the pump run with them pointed down to try and filter the stuff it kicks up. Then after a day I point them back at the surface to try and move things around for my skimmers.
I’m a new owner, but so far this seems to be working....

Another way to tell how clear your water is, can you see what type of screws are used on your main drain cover?
