Please help! My dog got in the pool yesterday and tore my liner!

It’s toward the top but dropped my water level down more than I’d like. Is there a patch we can buy?! A good brand recommendation so we can avoid draining the pool and replacing liner?

Yes you can buy a patch kit and fix the tear. Your local pool supply should have vinyl liner patch kits.

Yeah it was an accident. We didn’t have our gate up yet on the new deck. I didn’t even know he tore the liner until just now. :/. Needless to say, gate was built immediately. Okay so any brand patch is fine ? Thanks for your help!

We let dogs in our liner pool. As long as they know where the stairs are (which aren't covered by liner). Haven't had any issues. You can buy the vinyl pool repair kits pretty much anywhere (pool stores or other places).

Get one with a good adhesive, like boxer glue, if you can. Do a small patch with rounded corners that covers the hole, and then put a second larger patch with rounded corners over the top of it.

If the dog likes to swim, put a floating ramp in so he can get in and out with clawing. A thick piece of extruded styrofoam duct-taped to the deck would probably do it.
