came back after 2 weeks today and found the condition to be like this. I'm in SoCal and the pool was covered using solar cover the whole time.
now it's time to clean it up and would like help to identify if this is green or black Algae?
I haven't tested the water chemistry and I only use muriatic acid and Chlorinating Liquid from home depot as my regular maintenance.
I guess I should clean out my filter first before starting on this.
any tips on how to get rid of it would be appreciated as I start to look into other resources on how to tackle this as well.

Thank you in advance.
