Pool company is starting to plaster this morning. There is a light drizzle. Should I be concerned?

Thanks

Thanks, they ended up delaying until tomorrow. I hope your goes well.
Looking okay I guess. They just took off the tarp. The color looks kind of streaked. I don't know how it all works, but guessing that goes away when it dries?20200528_123755.jpg

Am I being to picky letting the things in these pictures bother me? First, the travertine coping was a white/grey color and now is a tan-ish color in places because of the grout. It still looks nice, but not the color we chose.

Below in the pictures you can see plaster on the tiles and covering the grout. One or two pictures show a lumpy looking corner wall. One pic is before water, the other after water. I expressed my concerns to the owner of the company before they added water. He said to just let the process do it's thing.

I've never been through this process before so hoping to get some opinions. Thank you

Grout-I like the color and it will be a MAJOR pain to your newly plastered pool to change it. That I would leave along EXCEPT to use a leverage for the plaster and tile mess.

sigh..........were is the pride in their work? Please tell me you have the contact with the PB about it in writing. If not do so now!

He said to just let the process do it's thing.
So is he saying they are not done? I would still get your concerns in writing to him with pics of those areas. Now once they say DONE then if they still look like that there needs to be some talking done!

This doesn't look good and I don't see how it can be better when the water is full. My guess is that PB Hope's that it won't be noticeable once below the water line.
Stull, grout should be between tiles, not plaster.
I would write a written complaint asking to fix it as well and attach pictures.

I have everything in text. I'm pretty disappointed at this point. 45 minutes twice a day brushing the pool and I can see the plaster on the tiles and the lumpy corner. Just very disappointing.

Ahhhhhhhh so you have ALL of the leverage! Good! I would ping them and say..........the brushing has not helped the plaster on the tile and grout. Please come out and tell me how it WILL be fixed on (date) at (time).

This puts it back in their court and lets them know you are not going away.
