Good Afternoon Everyone!! I just met with another PB and we absolutely LOVE his design. UPDATE- We signed the contract and put down a deposit, I will update this thread accordingly.

A few notes, it’s hard to tell from the drawing but the Spa cascades 360 degrees and it will have decorative glass tile. I showed pictures of the screened in porch and Carriage/Guest House so you can see what I’m talking about with the layout of the pool and better understand the drawing.

We are extremely excited about this design!!!

Additional detail not in quote-
- Increased size of Spa to 8’ interior diameter
- Added 3 deck jets equally spaced off the curved back of the pool
- Added 2 bubblers to the tanning/baja shelf
- Added an additional 3 HP pentair VSP to ensure I can have plenty of water moving power for the pool, water features, and 360 degree spillover spa
- Added a 120K heater/chiller in addition to the 400K Gas Heater (both pentair)
- Changed easytouch to intellicenter
- Upgraded decking to Travertine (Noce/Walnut)
- Added 2 extra microbrite lights for shelf
- Added a 500 gallon Propane tank for Heater/Fire Bowls

I do have a few questions-
- Any thoughts on light placement? My thought was the 2 5G lights go in about 3-4’ from the Firebowls and face the curved wall. The spa I’m assuming faces away from house so also faces the middle of the curved wall. I have 2 different thoughts on the shelf, one is put both on the pool wall facing towards the curved wall and the other is put one on the spa and the other on the Firebowl facing towards each other.

- Any other thoughts based on the current build specs would be appreciated.

Thank you everyone, this forum is amazing. Now I have to pick the tile and NPT/Stonescapes finish, there are so many options it’s overwhelming, but it’s also very exciting 😃😃😃

Carnut!! That's gonna be Gorgeous!!

Is that a puck chlorinator? How about a spigot placed near the pool for watering flowers, washing the deck down, etc.

Where will the equipment be hidden?

Maddie :flower:
Thank you 😊

It’s a salt generator, I need to confirm it is an IC60.

The equipment is going behind the Carriage house so it will be completely hidden.

Love the idea for the Spigot 👍👍👍

I signed the contract and updated my thread, this will now be my build thread. I close on my house May 19 so the build should begin shortly afterwards. Until then I’ll be picking out tile and the pool finish. More research to be done!!!

This one is going to be cool, I love the unique shape. Also have an aunt that lives in Forsyth, beautiful area up there.
Thank you my last pool I did the entire design on graph paper, we absolutely loved it. This one was 100% the PB and I’m blown away, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it, it totally fits the yard too. Can’t wait for it to begin.

These are the 4 tiles we asked the PB to order samples of.

We have a while before the pool finish needs to be chosen, but we did ask the PB about the price of Touch of Glass and Puerto Rico Blend, both are options for Stonescapes Pebble we really like.

Ahhh yes, the tile selection. We literally have a drawer full of samples in our kitchen. No less than 10 at least. Then, we went to the store and picked something we didn't have a sample of. I think tile for us was harder than picking a pebble finish.

Our PB just got a New Tile vendor. We just picked our Tile, we really like how different it is then anything we’ve seen prior. We also chose Tropic Blue Regular Pebble Stonescapes for our pool finish. We may add extra shells and/or glass to the mix, we haven’t fully decided that. Maybe just on the tanning shelf?

Attached is the Spa/waterline tile we chose. The spa will be 1.5x1.5” squares, the waterline will be 1x2” subway tiles.
