I just did a SLAM. My PH is reading high. My understanding is that PH doesn’t read out accurately when chlorine is very high (over 10?). Is it just the standard phenol red test that isn’t accurate at high chlorine levels? I have a PH meter. Does the PH meter read correctly? Trying to get things back in shape ASAP after my SLAM.

Gatebyrd, welcome to the world of new abbreviations and acronyms. Personally, I reached my limit a long time ago and joined IDEA...Individuals Dedicated to Elimination of Acronyms.
I know, I started reading the literature after I posted that. I am definitely going to start implementing some of what I learned right after I join IDEA. LOL
