PH increases by 0.1 per day. Normal?

Is it normal for PH to go up 0.1 per day? That's what mine is going up by since I took over the maintenance myself this year.

Current Readings Using my Leslie's - 9-Way Pool Water Test Kit.
FC 5
PH 7.4
TA 80
CYA 60
Borate 50
CH 300
Water feature is not running.

When your pH rises to 8, lower it to 7.6. The TA will come down to a level that the pH rise will slow depending on how much fill water you add and what the TA of that fill water is.
You added borax recently. Do not do that. That raises pH.

Yes, I added boric acid two weeks ago.

I find that it increases faster when at the lower end of the pH scale, and it increases slower as it gets to the upper end of the pH scale.

In other words, it is not linear .
