Curious how much FC at 10-12 range will affect the ph test in terms of shade color. With SWG and CYA 60-70 ranges, if you run hot you can be in the 10 or higher category at times which my readings says will affect the ph test and make it look higher than it is. Will it be very significant at that level? If it's not accurate what do people use? Ph meter?

The effect is progressive. Within a few seconds of adding the reagent, the pH can likely be read. But as it sits, it will darken. So you must be very quick.
A pH meter is better, if kept calibrated. Or do the distilled water trick.
