PH-7.3, aeration or borax?

My PH is a bit low- 7.3
TA- 50
FC- 5.0
CC-0

I’m having a lot of people over in a few hours. Should I just go ahead and turn on the slide to maybe raise it a bit, or do I need to add some borax?

pH is fine. No need to change.
Depending on your CYA level, you may need to raise your FC.

Perfect!! Thanks!! My CYA is at 40, so I’m going to bump FC to 7?? Or maybe higher since there’s going to be a lot of kids in the pool?

Sure. 10 ppm FC would not hurt.

Definitely pre-dose the pool with lots of kids. You may even want to enforce a “rest break” like they do at water park rides where everyone has to get out of the pool for an hour. Then you can run the filter on high, check chemical levels and dose if-needed.
