I have a Pentair Screenlogic that is no longer working. It says its connected. the protocol adapter is connected inside and the light is red. The wireless interface link is connected to that and all lights are rapidly flashing. (not sure if that is normal - never paid attention).
Then outside egg thing doesn't contain any lights that I can see. We had some rain the other day and after that I noticed I can;t get it to do anything. On the app it shows the schedule but not the temps and if I turn off the water feature nothing happens.
I am assuming the rain got into the outside egg wifi thing and did something to the board. Cant you just replace the board. It slides out and unplugs easily?
Thank you!

You can't just replace the outside unit as it is a matched set with the inside unit.

Your outside egg should have a green power LED.. It that is off, it usually means that your main card is not supplying power to the 'egg'...

Make sure that none of the small circuit breakers in the upper right of your main panel are popped.

If you have a IntelliFlo VS pump, see if the display shows "display not active" when in the pool mode.

Let us know what you find..

Thanks,

Jim R.

The outside egg doesn't have any lights on it. I don't see where a light would be unless it is on the board connection or something. The relays look fine but I am not sure what they are supposed to look like.
The pump is on low speed right now and it flashing E.C
See pictures.

Tami5,

My egg card is older and different than yours.. That said, in the middle of your card there appears to be three LED lights. One is marked Power, one RX and one TX.. The RX and TX lights should randomly blink, but the power LED should be solid green.

So.. either the card is bad, or the 15 volts that powers the egg card is missing..

Do you have a voltmeter or know someone that does? If so, have them test between the two outside pins on the 4 pin connector at the very bottom of the egg card. The voltage between the two outside pins (Pins 1 and 4) is what powers the egg card. It should be about 15 volts DC. If the voltage is missing, unplug the connector and see if the voltage is there or not. If the voltage is good with the card unplugged, it means the card is bad.

Thanks,

Jim R.
