Pentair PL4/PSL4 Convert to Salt Water

Hello,

I am looking for advice on the best way to convert our pool to a saltwater system. I would like to do this myself using our existing equipment, if possible. Any suggestions for doing this?

All you need to do is buy an IntelliChlor and Power Center and wire it up...

Hi, I have been looking a little more at other SWG's. I was looking at the "CircuPool RJ-30 PLUS Salt Chlorine Generator" and found the thread below as well.

How to connect a CircuPool RJ system to your pentair easy touch.

I'm looking at connecting a circupool RJ to my pentair easy touch 4. I do not need the automated chlorinator that I can have if I install an intellichlor, I just need to find out how to wire the Blue Control Box to the pentair easy touch at 240v (prefered) so when the pump comes on the...

If you get the IntelliChlor, your can adjust the cell's out from ScreenLogic.. You can also see the reported salt level of your pool water in ScreenLogic..

You can't do those things with an off-brand cell...

You can wire the power to the off-brand cell through the Pump/Filter relay, but that is about it. This will keep the cell shut off if the pump is not scheduled to be running.
