Pentair Mastertemp 400 No Control

Hello Everyone,
Some mice got into my water heater. They chewed up alot of wiring and I did a pretty good job patching it all up but I get no display on the control PCB. The system goes through a fenwal ignition system. The PCB does look like it has minor corrosion and no LEDs light up.
Any help would be amazing. I will post some pics also.

Welcome to TFP.

Do you have a multimeter?

Check that you have the proper power plug installed and the rodents did not chew on that.

Check you have 120V or 240V at the transformer.

Check you have 24V AC out from the transformer at the connector that plugs into the board.

If any of the original wiring supplied with this heater must be replaced, installer must supply (No. 18 AWG, 600V, 105° C. U.L. approved AWM low energy stranded) copper wire or it’s equivalent.

MK Rat Proofing sells wire mesh kits to cover the vents or you can fabricate your own using 1/4" mesh wire screen or simple chicken wire and some sheet metal.

I second the MK Rat Proofing
I purchased a kit for my heater after having a rat chew through my stack flue sensor. Easy to install. Can also make your own with mesh wire and some screws if you prefer
